Lighthouse Church was established in 2013 with the goal to minister to the recovery community. With the help of Jesus Christ, recovery is possible for everyone.
is a church whose teachings are consistent with the basic core doctrines of the Christian faith. We believe that there is one God who exists and calls us to have a personal relationship with Him.
.
We teach that every person has been created by God in His image, but we are also fallen people who sin. People at the Lighthouse know and understand the brokenness and pain of life. We've experienced the separation from God and the suffering our sin and life decisions have caused us. In Jesus, we have found freedom, healing and the power to live life one day at a time, surrendering to His will.
No page on a website can encompass all that we teach or believe. We consider ourselves an orthodox Christian church, but we are far from a normal church! We are a place of love, encouragement, hope and recovery. You do not need to believe what we teach to be part of our fellowship. We respect people wherever they are on their spiritual journey.
Our Mission Statement
The Lighthouse is a welcoming, casual and non-judgmental community of faith. Everyone is welcome, no matter your life struggles or where you are in your spiritual journey. We celebrate our diversity and that we are not your traditional church. Check us out... you'll see what we mean!
We teach about Jesus and use the Bible as the source for what God wants us to know about Him. Here, you can learn and experience an honest and direct teaching about the joys and struggles of daily life.
You will be greeted at the door and as you make your way through a sea of welcomes, grab a cup of coffee. You will find yourself with people just like you! We believe God works through the fellowship and compassion of His people. We seek to live that out.
We love to sing songs of worship to our God. If you are not sure what you believe, you can simply listen and think about what the words speak into your own life journey and what they say about God. You will find people who love to express their faith with their hands and body, while others may stand still or sit down. You are welcome to just be yourself!
