Tim Bjornson

 I have been struggling with self-worth, and abuse of various substances since I was 17. It started with abusing my ADHD meds, marijuana, and alcohol. I started using meth at 19. My life went from bad to worse after that. I've been homeless several times. I'm a 3 time felon. I spent the past 6 years falling and getting back up in my fight to get my life back.

 God led me to Lighthouse in 2016. It was there where my recovery journey began. God has been teaching me to live life on life's term. he has put an amazing church family in my life. Through them, He has taught me how to be more Christlike towards others. He has given me several fresh starts in life. With his guidance, I'm working hard to not squander this one. By His grace I have been clean and sober since 2/12/2021.

 I love being able to use my lived experience to help others on their recovery, and faith journey's I'm also blessed to be on staff with a group of great people who are like family to me.
