Sydney Quibell

 Hi! I’m Sydney and I work in communications here at Lighthouse Church. I graduated from high school in 2021 and went off to college at MSUM the following fall. I struggled a lot my first semester of school after realizing that it wasn’t for me. I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to do and where I belonged. Dropping out of school made me feel like a failure. Because of the grace of God, my prayers for direction and purpose were answered. I enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University’s online program and have been working towards a degree in Communications and Professional Writing. Around the same time, I got a call from Pastor Dale about the position I currently have and knew that it was from God. 

 When I look back at my life from where I am now, it’s so easy to see the blessings upon blessings Jesus has given to me and my family. The most important thing I have noticed is how consistent Jesus is in my life. No matter the situation, things have always worked out and He has always been faithful. Looking at where I am now, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with joy and encouragement. The more time I spend getting to know Christ, the more I see Him work in my life.
 

 Having the opportunity to work at Lighthouse Church has been one of the best experiences. I love my coworkers and the unique dynamic and diversity that we have at this church. Though my absolute favorite thing about working here would have to be the genuine environment that has been created. Each encounter I have is real and insightful. From day one, I felt at home!
